The programme

From Haydn to Mozart, from Schumann to Beethoven, from Tchaikovsky to Ravel to Stravinsky: looking at the past through the eyes of the present by outstanding conductors and performers. Principal conductor Ottavio Dantone, American Kent Nagano and Michele Mariotti are again at the centre of various projects this season, highlighting the orchestra with its special features in repertoire and expression. On the podium will be guests other famous names, from Alexander Lonquich to Daniel Cohen, from Timothy Redmond to Min Chung, and from Kolja Blacher to Thomas Dausgaard. On the occasion of the centenary of his birth, a special event is dedicated to the great poet, writer and director Pier Paolo Pasolini.
